Media
The expectations for media are, understanding a variety of media texts, identifying media forms, creating different types of media and reflecting on your strengths and weaknesses as media interpreters. In this class we didn't have a lot of media assignments and when we did it was near the end of the semester. So I was not sure what my strengths and weaknesses were. After doing our final media assignment I realized that I struggled the most with creating different forms of media, I am not a very creative person.
So when I received our culminating task and realized it was another media project I thought I would branch out of my comfort zone. I usually do power-points or posters so I thought I would make a website, therefore improving my ability to create different types of media.
The skills learned in writing, reading, listening and oral speaking all help improve skills in media. When presenting a media project, you must speak with emotion, tone and emphasis, your writing must be critical and logical, and your reading must be fluent.
